Early on in the establishment of K&M McLoughlin we began to work within new construction firstly with Mansell (now Balfour Beatty) a relationship of unbroken work with not one week missed in 29 years, a real testament to our commitment to our clients.

 

The delivery of Shell and Core, Cat A, Cat B fit-outs and ‘turnkey projects’ has unique challenges as does every sector but here most of all with so many different trades in one place it is key to have the correct management, operatives and temperament. By its nature, Painting and Decorating is carried out at the end when pressure to deliver is at its highest, problem solving skills are most in demand and the option for a few more days is not there.

 

Our project supervisors are on hand to mitigate any issues, skilfully managing the sequencing of works around other trades to deliver your project on time.

 

We are firm advocates of early engagement on projects and the benefits this brings to the overall project. Prior to commencement of the work we will undertake a full technical review of the specification and finish schedule to identify potential issues and opportunities for Innovation. We liaise with manufacturers to offer solutions rather than raising problems and are committed to open discussions.
