Heritage & Churches

With our ageing housing stock and decline in numbers of people entering the construction industry K&M McLoughlin have invested heavily to encourage people to take up a trade in painting and decorating and develop their skills further at the K&M Training School . This decision has enabled us to accept more and more projects requiring conservation work and sympathetic restoration from historic Grade I listed terraces in Blackheath, to grand private residences and Victorian street properties owned by the Local Authority. This is challenging work quite often requiring a large degree of problem solving and skill due to the unknown nature of what you can find working on an old and sometimes badly maintained building.

Our Services include:

We in St Joseph’s Church, Highgate, are very pleased with all aspects of the work recently carried out by K&M in our Church. The quality of the work was to a very high standard. The intrusion on the normal activities in the church was kept to the barest possible minimum. Any queries arising during the course of the work were handled in a most courteous and helpful manner. Those doing the work in the church always did so in a manner respectful to the environment in which they were working. The work was completed on time and within budget. In short, it was an inspired choice of painting contractor, and we would have no hesitation in offering K&M any similar contracts that may arise in the future.
